Semi-Transparent Type Tutorial

Step1:open the image of your choice.Type your text.
Step2:Put a selection around your text.Click on the eye icon to hide the type layer.
step3:press apple+j. choose drop shadow from your layer styles click on the words inner shadow and inner glow.
Step4:drag your type layer into the trash to delete the layer.

Step1: Open the image you would like to work on.
Step2:click on the brush tool.In the options bar. switch the blend mode to color. Change your foreground color to black.
Step3:from the brushes palette, choose a medium sized, soft-edged(0% hardness brush.

Shadow In Motion Tutorial

STEP 1:tap the letter "d" to change your foreground color tp black.Hold down the options key and tap the delete key Type your text using a medium gray color (#666666)

STEP2:Duplicate your type layer by using the apple+j shortcut.Rasterize your layer.

STEP3:Go under the filter menu, under pixelate ,choose fragment.Run this filter two more times by using the apple+f shortcut.

Step4:press apple+T.In the options bar change the width+height to 130%.

STEP5:Click on your original type layer and rasterize it. Click on the top layer and press apple+e to merge the 2 layers.

STEP6: To colorize your type, Press apple+u to bring up Hue/saturation.Click the colorize checkbox and move the hue silder to the color you'd like.

Holiday card project (in memory of Delton brown)

what is the Holiday card project?the purpose of the Holiday card project is to create holiday cards for people who are hospitalized during the holiday season. The idea behind the project is to simply try to bring a little cheer to those who are undergoing hospital stay.

Exactly who receives the cards? the cards will be distributed to both U.S. and international hospitals. The cards will be delivered in person by a representative. The patients who recive the cards age in rang from children to seniors and have illness or injuries that vary from mild to terminal.

what should I write in a crad? Be as creative as you like. Just remember the degree of illnes for patients will vary, so it is important to be cheerful. some suggested greetings include, "Hope you're feeling better", "Thinking of you" , or "have a nice day". try to stay away from "Get well soon" as it might not be appropriate for all patients. Rememeber to include a message of "Happy Holidays"

Will the patients know who sent the cards? The only way a patient will know who the card is from is if you sign your name. If your card anonymously, you may.

Can i send more than one card?absolutely!However, remember that quality is better than quality sending me quality card that you put time and effort in to is batter the sending two cards that were thrown together.

Is there a specific size or medium for the card? There is no specific size for the cards. Use your best judgement. You can design and decorate cards by drawing, coloring, or patnying. You can use, construction paper, cardboard, markers, crayons, colored pencils, ribbon, ect, to make your card special you can also design your card using photoshop. In photoshop pleasa use 4x6 or 5x7 for your dimensions.

step1:Click on the gradient tool.In the options Bar, Click onthe gradient thumnail to bring up the gradient editor.when it appears,double click on the left color stop.When the color picker appears,click on the custom button,then choose pantone 722,and click ok.Duble-click onthe right color stop;this time choose pantone 732 click ok.

step2:In the opions bar click onthe radial gradient icon.Using this tool,click-and-drag from teh center to the top of the backround layer.Go under the filter menu, under noise,and choose add nosie.Enter 12% for amount,choose gaussian, check monochromatic,and click ok.

step3:Then,go under the filter menu,under blur,and choose motion blur.Enter 33' for angle and10 for distence.Click ok.Now go under the filter menu,under sharpen,and choose unsharpen mask. Enter 500% for amount, 9.0 pixels for radius,and 1 for threshold,then click ok.

step4:Type your text.Go under the layer menu, under rasterize,and choose type to convert your type layer into a regular image layer.Now, under brush strohes,choose sprayed strokes.Type 12 for stroke lenght,& for radius, and right diagonal for direction.Click ok.

step5:Click the magic wand tool.Click once in your firstletter of your word. then go under the select menu and choose similar to select the rest of the letters.Under the select menu,choose inverse.Now, press delete to remove the little chuncl of while space.Around the letters created by the brushed strokes filter.

step8Choose the lasso tool.Make a thin selection in the center of each letter.Rember to hold down the shift key.Press apple+c to copyadd a new layer press apple+v to paste.change the layer mode normal to color Burn.

what is photo?

adobe photoshop is a professional image editing sofware.

Menu Bar: this is where you can acces most of the features and commands in photoshop.it is located at the very to of phototshop.

Options Bar: displays your tool options.It changes as different tools are selected.

Tools Bar: contain all of your tools. They are used for creating and editing images.

palettes: to monitor and modify images.There are 5 palettes by default.

satage/canvas: where the imge geing worked on will appear.

The layers window shgows the various layers that your image is made up of.

selection

there are several ways to select imges or poortions of images in phototshop. here is on basic method to do so: Adding to selection and making a square.

08-09 School Year

My goal for this school year is to is to not start no drama although I don't start the drama but at my old school just like to talk stuff about people.I didn't accomplish that goal yet because I just started school it is going good so far I hope it continue because I don't have time for stupid stuff in fact i have real good friends.
